stoictruebrujah: Dragon Con, Anyone?

So - as some of you know I'm going to Film School in January (I was accepted to the Masters of Film and Digital media program in Sydney AU). My film professor actually suggested I go to some interest focused film festivals before I hit grad school to better focus my studies, and given my interest in sci fi and fantasy, Dragon Con was one she suggested (as was the Nat History film festival in Montana : ).

That said - I have a sleeping bag, a blow up outback mattress, and some funds to contribute toward the room (thus making it cheaper for all involved), plus mad mojito making skills. Does anyone have Dragon Con crash space, or knowledge of said crash space? You'd be doing a great thing by helping an aspiring filmmaker/writer, and you'd probably get a free mojito out of it : ).

Please let me know asap. If I go to this I need to buy airline tickets immediately.

This post will probably be cross listed.

Cheers!

stoictruebrujah: White Wolf Books For Sale (Cross Posted / E-mailed)

Dear All,

I am selling my White Wolf books (for real this time).  I tried selling my books a year ago, and failed miserably because my computer and Pay Pal weren’t exactly pals.  Now I have a nifty system set up to accept payments, so if you see an item below, please e-mail me so we can negotiate a price.  I will then send you a request for payment via Pay Pal.  When you pay, I will e-mail you the tracking number to prove that the item was sent within 2-4 business days.

I have a price in mind for each based on a variety of merchants, and what I can get if I sell them to book stops. I may post the prices in an update, or when I decide to sell these books on E-Bay, but I thought I would give my lj friends, and those among the lj community a first go as I am willing to negotiate if you e-mail me with the book you want and a price you’re thinking of paying.

So, if anyone is interested in buying any of the books below, please reply to me privately with your e-mail, the book you're interested in, and your pitched price.  All comments will be screened for confidentiality purposes.

Thanks again,

K

stoictruebrujah: White Wolf Books For Sale: Cross Posted

Dear All,

The day has finally come where I’ve decided to buckle down and focus on getting my PHD. This requires a masters, which requires tuition, application fees, GRE Fees and books, and all of this requires money. Finally, I anticipate moving and I cannot take everything with me.

So, I am selling my belongings, some of which include several White Wolf books. I have listed the books below, and I have a price in mind for each based on a variety of merchants, and what I can get if I sell them to book stops. I may post the prices in an update, or when I decide to sell these books on E-Bay, but I thought I would give my lj friends, and those among the lj community a first go as I am willing to negotiate if you e-mail me with the book you want and a price you’re thinking of paying. I will be using pay-pal to arrange payments.

So, if anyone is interested in buying any of the books below, please e-mail me at stoictruebrujah@aol.com so we can negotiate.

Thanks again,

Kylee

matt_m_mcelroy: Books!

I just just posted quite a few Dark Ages books on my new Sale or Trade thread over at RPGnet. I will probably be adding a few more as I sort through the collection. Feel free to contact me via PM over at RPGnet or e-mail me at flamesrising01@yahoo.com if you are interested in any of the books.

matt_m_mcelroy: Constantinople

So, the eBook version of Constantinople By Night is finally available at RPGNow.

This was always one of my favorite Dark Ages books and I had many great games set in the city. I wore out one print copy over the years and my second was starting to fall apart. The eBook will come in handy as a backup if the game picks up again this winter. I know it is not part of the Revised line-up and some of the setting was updated in Dark Ages Europe (which I also have), but it is still a great read with plenty of ideas for characters, antagonists and history.

innocent_man: Buy these Dark Ages books!

Having a cash crises presently, to the point of wondering if I'm really going to be able to make GenCon or, indeed, buy food this week (I mean, I'll be able to buy food, but even that's putting a strain on the purse). Numerous things contribute, but the long & short is, I'm reminding everybody about my Massive Freaking Book Sale.

I've added new World of Darkness books to the list, too, just in case you want to, like, have them autographed or something, I dunno. In any event, if any of the books on that list want to be in your hands, email me and let me know what you'd like to pay for them. I'll take checks/money orders, but I'd really prefer PayPal because I need the money now-ish.

The Dark Ages and historical books I currently have for sale are:

Werewolf: The Wild West
Tales From the Trails: Mexico
Vampire: The Dark Ages
Under the Black Cross
Three Pillars
The Ashen Knight
Liege, Lord and Lackey
Transylvania Chronicles I: Dark Tide Rising
Transylvania Chronicles II: Son of the Dragon
Wind from the East
Clanbook: Baali
Dark Ages Companion
Dark Ages Mage Grimoire
Libellus Sanguinis 1: Masters of the State (x3)
Libellus Sanguinis 2: Keepers of the Word (x3)
Cainite Heresy
Clanbook: Cappadocian
Fountains of Bright Crimson (I'd throw this in free if you buy other stuff)
Clash of Wills (this too)
Werewolf: The Dark Ages
Ashen Cults
Bitter Crusade
The Ashen Thief
Artisan's Handbook
Crusade Lore (book w/ screen)
Blood and Silk

X-posted all over the damn place.

thegamemistress: DA Werewolf font?

Does anyone know the name of the font that was used for the subject headings in Dark Ages: Werewolf?

EDIT: I'm looking for the font used for the first line of each of the fiction pieces that begin the chapters. It's also used on the back cover blurb, specifically, in the lines "The prophecies have come" and "By the light of the blood moon."

thegamemistress: Dark Ages Werewolf - Blessings & Curses?

On the character sheet for DA Werewolf, there is a spot for "Blessings" and one for "Curses." I've looked through the book repeatedly, and I can't find any mention of either in the rules.

Does anyone know where I can find the rules for Blessings and Curses in DA Werewolf, or was that a misprint of something else on the character sheet?

waterdragon: A request

I am looking for the pdf of the Dark Ages Vampire main book, and high and low clan books.

Yes I know normally I'd be preaching the evils of 'illegal' pdf's, but we already own all of those books and even the special edition of the main book. So anyways, if anyone has these and would be willing to share them with me I would be grateful. I know I could just copy my own books, but if I can find an edition online already it'd make my life much easier. If you are curious why I want the books is so I can just print out the pages pertinent to my character and my husband can keep his books by his side (since he's the gm) leaving the other extra book for the 4 other players to use if need be.

Thanks!

Oh, and the campaign is a blast so far, we've only had the first session but it's histerical. So far we have (all pc's) the prince who happens to be a Brujah, a Gangrel, a warrior Salubri (it's set in 438 AD so they're still around) who also happens to be insane, a Malkavian, and my character a child Malkavian who thinks he's a Toreador... So currently the prince is looking to my character as a source of stability. Basically the campaign set was were were sent to a town in England (York) and told to set up a court and whatnot. Needless to say this shall be a very interesting campaign to see what happens. Especially when everyone (and my character) figures out that I am insane as well, hehhee!
